About Chris and Peyton

Chris Lambton

  • Age: 34
  • Occupation: Co-Owner E. Lambton Landscaping
  • Hometown: Dennis, Massachusetts
  • Resides in: Cape Cod
  • Love: Cooking, Running, Reading and being with friends and family

I transform backyards, one house at a time, with the help of my wife Peyton in our new HGTV series “Going Yard.” The show highlights my landscaping skills and gardening know-how as Peyton and I create outdoor living spaces and features including patios, arbors and water features for deserving homeowners.  My expertise includes landscaping, hardscaping, garden planning, lawn care, and maintenance for all of these areas of your outdoor living space.

You might also know me from season six of ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” starring Ali Fedotowsky, where I was ultimately named runner-up.  In a Hollywood twist, Peyton appeared on season ten of “The Bachelor” and season one of “The Bachelor Pad,” but instead of meeting on camera, we were introduced by a mutual friend.

Since 2007, I’ve been living in my hometown of Cape Cod and running our family’s landscape business, E. Lambton Landscaping, alongside my brother Erik.  Prior to that, I was a teacher and varsity boys’ basketball coach at New York City’s High School of Economics and Finance.  I hold a degree from Providence College in Rhode Island and was part of the Big East Conference Academic All-Star Team in 1998 and 1999.

I’m very involved with Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS) as a result of my mother’s fight with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a disease associated with the degeneration of nerve cells in specific areas of the brain. I continue to give back to the organization as often as possible.

Cape Cod, Ma
  • Occupation: Design Department for Varsity Spirit Fashions
  • Hometown: Kingsport, TN
  • Loves: Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Cooking, Cornhole and spending time with family.

I provide entertaining advice wrapped in Southern charm alongside my husband Chris in our new HGTV series “Going Yard.” The show allows me to showcase my eye for style as Chris and I create outdoor living spaces and features including patios, arbors and water features for lucky homeowners.

You might know me from season ten of ABC’s “The Bachelor,” starring Andy Baldwin, where I was eliminated during week three.  I returned to “Bachelor Nation” for season one of “Bachelor Pad,” and placed fourth with my partner Jesse Beck. My first encounter with my now husband Chris (who was runner-up on season six of “The Bachelorette”), was not scripted, but arranged by a mutual friend.

I currently work in the design department at Varsity Spirit Fashions and previously worked there in sales. Prior to that, I worked at Tri Delta sorority, first as a field consultant and later as a marketing coordinator in their Dallas-based national office.  I’m a Kingsport, Tenn. native and graduate of the University of Tennessee where I majored in journalism and public relations.

While working for Tri Delta, I became heavily involved with St. Jude Children’s Research Center, who both Tri Delta and Varsity Spirit Fashions have partnerships with.  I continue to volunteer for the organization as frequently as I can.
